Just 911.
simple, centered.
Who knows 911s can decipher what model it is.

Yeah, my wife has put up with my car thing enough that I thought it was fair to honor the one option she had a strong opinion about.

As it turns out, I really like the look so it worked out in the end.

I've chosen full designation on my inbound 992 GTS. Is a little long but I've accepted that.

I think it's personal (of course). But depending on the color choice, high gloss black is very nice. My car is Dolomite Silver (no longer available as a selection in MY 23, even as PTS). The high gloss black looks great on it. And because it's a Targa, the model has to be on there.

I went with no model designation. I’ve noticed it leaves most confused as they look around back to see if it’s a GT3 or a Turbo at car shows.

The full script is just a little busy IMO.

Doesn’t look like AG. I have AG, and even on cloudy days, it doesn’t look anything like that (post #22 is AG).

Hard to tell GTS from other Carreras without the nameplate (with the exception of the TT and GT3).

GTS is the only one with black trim pieces on sport design rear bumper, so not that hard.

True, the trim piece of the sports design rear bumper on the GTS is not color matched to the car’s body color…. but that can be hard to pick out if driving by, or the car’s color is dark to begin with. In the picture in question (post #23), I honestly can’t tell if it’s color matched, or not. On mine, it’s easy to spot. While personal taste, I prefer the contrast in the trim piece.

I have always just kept whatever the standard designation was for the car in the past, but I have a 911 Carrera 4 GTS on order, and decided to remove it this time.

“911 Carrera 4 GTS” is almost a full sentence, and thought it was just too much clutter.
