Default Headlight Error?

Hi all.....have had my 992 for 8 months or so now....put on a whopping 1100 miles. Love it....

Everything has been great until yesterday. I started my car and received the following error messages:

1. Left Low Beam Error, Right Low Beam Error
2. Check Right Front Daytime Running Light or Parking Light, Check Left Front Daytime Running Light or Parking Light

i called the dealership and they thought it could be something that just goes away. While i do have low miles, i drive at least 2x a week. No MODs or any external adds/chargers/etc.

I saw some post about this a few years back. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Maybe pull out the fuse and see what happens????

thanks!

Are you using a battery maintainer?

no - no charger, maintainer, or anything else. literally park the car in the garage and that's it.

Start keeping your car on a battery maintainer. You're not driving enough to keep the battery charge. That could be causing this code to throw.

I received that same error code when I first purchased the car. The error occurred on only that one occasion. I basically shut the car off, waited 10-15 seconds and then restarted the car.

Can we assume you checked the lights indicated? Were they operational compared to the RH side?
