Thoughts on my GTS build?
Noob to the forum here. Was able to secure an allocation in socal with build due by 7-1-22. In case you are curious the ask is 35k over MSRP. Anything I should be considering or tips prior to deposit?
Future first time Porsche owner so would love feedback on my build.
Thanks!

I don’t think you missed a single option. Have you had a chance to listen to the Bose in a GTS?
I really don’t think the Burmeister is necessary.

184k?
Might as well look at a Turbo (non-S)

Burning Brakes
How are you intending to use the vehicle? Daily? Track focused? I ask because you have weight saving options such as the carbon roof but not the light weight package.

I would not be committing to $35k over MSRP in this environment, let alone, pay that for a Carrera. That puts you purely into Turbo territory. There are fewer people looking for TT/TTS cars than the GTS — shorter lines, lower ADM.
That being said, the heart wants what it wants and if you have the cash, spend it. You should just be aware that you’ll never recoup that money spent on ADM.

It puts you into Turbo territory, but less all the options. So once you add all the options, we could have the same conversation and say why not get a Turbo S.
It is a highly optioned car, and if those things are important, then get them.
That being said, and slightly different animals, I’d like to share this from yesterday that a salesman shared.

Great point. I'll likely take it to the track 2-3 times a year and drive 2-3 times a week just to get out of the house – I work from home. I also have 2 young boys and 1/ would like them to come for a ride occasionally and 2/ dont want my wife to be uncomfortable in the bucket seats.
