As soon as it dries out! I'm sick of the rain this week.

Sorry to hear that. at least you can still enjoy the car between the rain and not mothball it for the next 4-5months. Our fun driving season just began - milder temperatures and dry season, just took mine out this morning to an enjoyable ride to work.
The 992 forum is the barber shop and the GT3 forum is the hair salon. That place tends to have more drama…lol
I wouldn't say that necessarily. There's so much more traffic in this forum that there's always plenty of drama here. GT3 buyers wouldn't be more drama queens by nature, would we?
OMG I GOT MY ELEVATOR PIC TODAY AND IT HAS THE XM ANTENNA WART! THAT WASN'T IN THE RENDERS. I WILL WRITE LETTERS!!
But really, I would have deleted XM had I known the 992.2 GT3s still used that now-unnecessary roof wart
Come on brother. No circular motions when washing; only straight lines (..in the direction air flows over/around the car). Pat dry! Stay swirl free. You know the deal.
I've been using a handheld leaf blower to dry the car.

@MAXFPS I try to stay up with current events on this forum, but don't know how I missed you had another 911 (GT3 Touring yet!) on order!
To get me up to speed, Base- gone, T - still in your inventory, GTS - Still in your inventory, GT3- On the water?
Are you having a clearance sale anytime soon? I guess we still need an intervention.

Hehe - that's because I post that GT3 stuff over in the GT3 forum, behind that velvet rope. I could never get past the bouncer no matter how many 992.2s I got before. They finally let me in with a GT3 on order, and that thread has finely upholstered couches, tasteful music, a full bar, and it smells like high-end cologne in there!
But yeah, I could still use an intervention, as my quest for the perfect 911 has become the quest for the perfect 911seses. The 992.2 4GTS was the upgrade to the 992.2 base, and it was so "perfect" and comfy for a daily and do anything in any weather - but I needed the more raw manual for the backroads fun. The T is fantastic for that, but good as it is... the GT3 Touring is the logical endpoint for the backroads fun car. So I got the GT3T in the same Ice Grey that makes my T so nice, and the chalk interior with blue stitching & dials that makes my GTS so nice. Will it be "one 911 to rule them all"? I doubt it. It has no adaptive cruise control, no surround view camera - not even front parking sensors. It's supposed to be even noisier inside than the T (I've never even sat in a GT3, or any of my 911s before I bought them). And manuals get tiring in the city, so I doubt it could ever replace the GTS as my daily. Way slower too.
So yeah if anyone wants a gorgeous barely used T... if I'm smart I'll sell it before the GT3 gets here so I don't wind up with 3 911s for a while like last time!

Your picture is hanging in the sales office in Zuffenhausen. Please keep visiting us here on the "steerage" forum and let us know how things are in first class. Can't wait to read your GT3T review.
Last night was Formula 1 here in Las Vegas. We were at a party at the Waldorf-Astoria at the southern end of The Strip. The lobby had the obligatory McLaren ballon car (last year, the lobby had a Ferrari ballon car):
A pic of the formation lap prior to the start of the race, taken from the 45th floor with an iPhone, so the pics are not great:
And finally the race is under way. This is Turn 14 - a 55-mph left hand turn where Lando Norris made a mistake at the beginning of the race (I don't have a pic of the mistake):
And, of course, once Verstappen had won, it was time for some fireworks shot off the top of Strip hotels:
