700 miles down & back to the Napa valley this week in the 4GTS. Caught the last light at Mt. Shasta on a brilliantly clear evening... I could make it if this was a Dakar...
I have the Cayenne for road trips, but TBH if I don't need to take more than one passenger, the 4GTS is now my road tripper of choice. Deleting the S-PASM and adding PDCC made it such an amazing Grand Tourer. And previewing the routes available to get over to the coast... if you're in a 911, would you rather take this road or 5 lanes of Interstate 5 thru Vallejo?
But in such a low and expensive car, you do have to watch out when giant tumbleweeds attack! With as many as 5 of these big ones in the road at any one time, I got my avoidance maneuvering in!
You can’t go wrong with GT Silver. It’s silver, sure, but that warm, earthy undertone makes it look amazing in pretty much any light.
There is a hint of beige (or champagne..) in its metallic base, one of the reasons it looks richer and more “liquid” under sunlight.
Thanks. BCForged. I have very good experience with that company over the years.
Thanks for the response. It looks like they are a Taiwanese manufacturer? I am definitely not against saving some money if the wheels are good quality. I've been reading a lot and many people just skip them due to safety and quality concerns. What do people think on this forum? China vs Taiwan?
