Default First car wash! Black stone guard or no?

Getting PPF and ceramic done next week and can’t decide if I should ask my detailer to install black stone guard?

I have black calipers and think black stone guards could really add to sporty look of the GTS, but I also hate to hide paint color with flat black.

Any advice??

Just installed the stone guards on mine. I figured if I don’t like them they are easy to remove. I believe I’ll be keeping them.

I plan to install mine this weekend. I think I actually like it better w/o it but these fenders to get beat up and I don’t like the clear guards. I am like previous poster, if I don’t like them et all I can take them off.

you should try reversing the spacers and go 14 F and 7 R. IMO the front needs to be spaced out much more than the rear. In your picture above the front rims/tires look tucked in noticeably more than the rear which sits very flush.

Slowly making progress...a few small things including stone guards (still not decided to keep them), moshammer diffuser (temporarily installed until painted), invisible valve stems, clear rear signal and a few more things I forgot. Got my Techart HAS today....which I am really excited about.

I’d highly recommend stone guards. I only drove a little over 100km without them and already had the start of a few scuffs.

I personally am not a fan of the black ones so I went with clear. They aren’t noticeable at all unless you’re looking for them, and no one, my wife included (who likes to point stuff out and ask about it), has even noticed or commented about them.

Like other posters, give it a shot and worst case scenario if they don’t float your boat you can pull them off in 30 seconds.
