Default Never thought I would want a targa!

Was given the option to pick between 2 GTS or a targa4s which were all crossing the Panama Canal at that time. Both GTS had minimum options except for big dollar items like PTS and PCCB. So I picked the targa which had a higher MSRP but had more practical options like front lift, Burmester and deviated stitches. Also learned last year that I am too old for GTS ride! 3 weeks later I took the car home. Never wanted a targa and never wanted black cars! So far I have been pleasantly surprised and truly enjoying the roof off. Great change for me after 3 prior 991. Also didn’t realize how rare targa4s are and feeling special!

Beauty. Hate to clean a black car but love the look.

Excellent choice. Targa’s are desirable for a reason.

If I bought black again, I promised myself to wrap the entire car or at least make sure I have a good quality ceramic job done. I understand the reason you were attracted to it. I get sucked in to black cars as well despite the upkeep.

As far as the targa is concerned, I absolutely love mine, how it looks top up or down. I don’t feel like I’m compromising anything when I drive it.

appt for front PPF and whole car ceramic not until 6/13! They are busy. Can’t decide on tint!

People scared me away from tinting the Targa at first because of the complexity of the install and how it changes the look. The shop doing my ALP/Radenso had done a bunch of Targas (without removing all the trim pieces) and showed me shot of the results so i went with a very light (55%) ceramic. More for the heat relief than cosmetics. Here's a picture of it in the garage. I will post some shots in the sun when I get a chance.

that looks good. Not too dark! My usual tiny shop told me no problem but can’t confirm if they have done one before. And I worry!

the one thing that ruins a tint on a car with a removable roof is that roof/top down/retracted looks goofy IMO.
