Finally. I took delivery of a new Targa 4S from my long time Porsche dealership of 36 years..

It was not a normal journey for me. I did not have an order demand for a Targa, nor was I provided an allocation and then a build. in fact, I had order demands at 4 dealerships for over a year with no allocations coming my way. I had no clue what an ESCC vehicle was and fortunately I was in the right place at the right time that my dealership had an Exclusive Manufacture Showcase Concept Car Targa 4S manual. This was a unit that Porsche Exclusive awards to a dealer which is over and above normal allocations to have a vehicle displayed on the showroom floor to "showcase" exclusive options . A MSRP of $194,000 so you can imagine the option sheet. The car became available for sale with no ADM and I jumped on it

I am still having a hard time wrapping my head around this beautiful car. I still have my 997S Coupe that continues to please every time I am behind the wheel. I do not have any miles on the Targa to give any in depth assessment but my initial impressions is one of delight. As part of the ESCC program, the dealer is required to do a YouTube video which is attached.






I have been in my garage about 20 times to make sure it is still there and is mine.

Not the car seat or the bear. I did have to buy the watch which was discounted.

the pinnacle option is the stitching of the car seat.

Gorgeous car. For that MSRP I would have had them swap out those wheels for the Classics or even the Exclusives. That is the only downside. Congrats.
