True. The SC is part of the Heritage line.

People just seem put off by paying that much for what is essentially just a detuned Turbo with a manual.
I am in full agreement with you . I would take the touring . My biggest hurdle for not getting the touring right from the start was that I wanted to drive my 911 every day . As for the sport classic I agree with you there as well . I also don't like retro fusion with modern . I realize its "exclusive" and great for someone else .

I started a similar thread on the GT board and I guess pretty predictably the posters there favored GT3T vs here the SC. I think if the cars were about the same, or even if the SC was a little more, it would be an interesting dilemma but if it twice as much, well that is just a no brainer.

When given the choice, I’d take the motorsport engine every time.

Both have their pros and cons, but the tipping point for me would be the mod-ability of the Turbo engine.

Suspension appears to be regular PASM and not SPASM, just based on the stance. But I'm not sure (someone may have hard information on that). That would lead me to believe, if true, that the car was not tuned for max performance. Again - who really knows
According to the Porsche press release, the SC gets S-PASM standard.

The SC for me. I think it is one fine looking car and it will have the performance to boot.

The Touring looks like a castrated GT3 but I never even found the GT3 to be a good looking car.- purpose yes.

As an investment- do not give a hoot- no one can predict anything

GT3 Touring with a ducktail would be cool though.
