18 Way Seats
Not to truly complain but curious. I have 18 ways, and experienced 14’s and 4 ways in the past with very few issues. On long trips the bolster on my left leg feels stiff and becomes uncomfortable (I do have ventilated seats?). I’m just at 2600 miles. Anyone experiencing discomfort and if so have your seats loosened up over time,

I have the the 18-Way Sport-Tex seats, so no ventilation. My morning commute leg is 45-60 minutes. The seats are still very comfortable at 9,000 miles. My only complaint is the incomplete electric steering column.
It’s not the seats. It’s you. Seats are a very personal preference. I find the 18 way more comfortable than 14 and my wife does not. I also think the buckets are very comfortable to be in, although a huge pain to get in and out of. But no one can tell you about the seats. There’s no correlation to height or weight.
I put more than 35k miles in my 992C4S 18 ways over 2.5 years. I found them to be extremely comfortable. My wife declared them to be the most comfortable of any of my sports cars — she wasn’t wrong. I am 5’9”, 180lbs.
Did you play with all of the adjustments?

What I do is save 2 settings, one more upright and slightly closer to the wheel (which I use mainly around town) and the other more relaxed so slightly further away from the wheel and lower. It’s really easy then to switch. Of course you can do that with 14-way seats as well.
I have the 4 way plus on my C2S, and it is basically the same seat as the 18 way, minus the added adjustability and motor weight. It is definitely more sporty than the 4 way and 14 way seats which share the basic design and have shorter seat bolsters and also less shoulder bolstering that the 4 plus and 18ways.. I have also had the sports buckets and found them comfortable on long trips. Egress is tougher though. 5'11, 200 lbs. For some reason my Boxster 718, which had the 14 ways made my lower back hurt after driving longer than one hour or so. It also had PDK which made it easier to let go of.

I put 10k miles in 18-way seats on my first 992. I was hesitant to get 14-ways, but overall they are super similar. After logging 1000 miles in my 2nd 992 I find the 14-ways to be a little more comfortable, where the 18-ways hug you a bit more. Both are fantastic and very supportive, but the 18-ways are definitely a sportier feel.
