Glad that you’re ok and damage is minimal. I figure any Porsche approved body shop should be able to order the glass and replace it for you. Might take a bit though.
Anyone know how I can find a replacement glass for the soft top :
my canvas is good but the anti roll bar pop up as I mounted a kerb in the wet .
Front arm was damaged and passenger driver air bag activated 🥺.
I found all the part from sun-coast except for the convertible glass .
anyone knows where I can buy the glass ?
Curious about the incident since I have a cab 992S. When you say you mounted a kerb in the wet, can you provide more details? Soft kerb like you might find on a racetrack or hard step sidewalk curve? At gentle parking speeds or backwards at 50 mph after spinning out?
The rear pop-up protection bars activate and will go through the glass if the top is UP as in this 991 photo. 992 has the same system. That rear glass is bonded to the top, while I don't know for sure I think you have to buy a whole new top as trying to seam that glass into the canvas might not be do-able. Probably a $ 10K job for just the top.
You'll want to file insurance for the damages and with the airbag deployment and control arms plus other suspension / wheel damage could have $ 25K to $ 35K worth of repairs on the car under your Collision portion of your policy. Hitting the curb at that speed also had to damage your wheel and tire, you may have extensive repairs.
That had to be quite a curb-stomp. Otherwise, no way the airbags and rear rollover pylons deploy. Better to repair and replace parts of a car than getting decapitated.
Busted. Ha! He bought a totaled car off CoParts ....that says it all.
Yes, and a few months ago he tried to see if he could buy tne ceramic brakes and top from a Rennlister who was selling his 992 And later he was trying to get the key fobs for the wrecked car he bought. I guess he's trying to fix this on the cheap and sell it to some noob.

Most of his posts are trying to get parts.
Hi, that was was a 992 Coupe , which I bought off copart . Its a hard top whereas this is a soft top.
anyways , you guys are free to think otherwise .
for the Ceramic Brakes swap , it was from my own 992 S . I have since bought the CCB callipers off sun coast and would be buying the rotors from eBay .
