Has anyone attempted to spec a GTS with the GTS Interior Package and request deviated stitching for the RaceTex wheel rim? I assume it would be a CXX option. I am going to reach out to my SA but wasn't sure if anyone else had already gone down that path.

What was the cost? Did you have to do the 12oclock marker or was that an additional request? Any option codes you could share for adding those requests?

I don't believe that the steering wheel rim is included in the GTS Interior Package.

GTS524 yellow stitched wheel looks great, but doesn't look like his car has the GTS interior package.

I have it on my Targa GTS & its great, but would have been sooooo much better if you could speck the stitching on the wheel to match the crayon or red stitching on rest of the black leather/race text.

Deffo do it if its possible, I wish I had now!!!

There was an old thread about the GTS package and the deviated stitching option where I broke down the cost. Essentially, the delta between having the GTS package in Carmine Red or Chalk/Crayon vs having the GTS package with the color of your choosing is about $1480 USD. Here is the general breakdown:

GTS Package = $4530 USD
Carbon Trim (Required) = $3970 USD
Colored Tach (Required) = $420 USD
Colored Seat Belts (Included) = $0
Colored Chrono (Included) = $0
Total: $8920 USD

Black Leather/Race Tex interior = $4530 USD
Deviated Stitching Package = $3650 USD
Carbon Trim = $840 USD
Seat Belt = $540 USD
Colored Tach = $420 USD
Colored Chrono = $420 USD
Total: $10400 USD

Note that the Deviated Stitching Package applies to the steering wheel and steering column casing which the GTS Package does not include. That's added value there which one could say it's even less of a delta than $1480. Also note the Deviated Stitching Package also applies to the GTS logo on the seats.

Ive just done the same on the UK configurator, what I cant quite figure is why you MUST include the Extended Interior Package in matt carbon at £2,231.00 on the GTS interior package, yet when if you add the same Extended Interior Package in matt carbon without the GTS pack its only £ 506.00

So much less?, confusing?

With hindsight I'd have probably specced the interior minus the GTS package but with the stitching & extended leather/race tex.

The carbon trim is OK, its not got that genuine handmade carbon fibre look you sometimes get, & I'm not really arsed about the crayon seatbelts!

yes correct. I spec'd my GTS interior with the Deviated Stitch Package in Race Yellow, seat belts in Race Yellow, Extended Leather, Leather Seats w/Race Tex inserts. GTS seat logos are also in Race Yellow which is part of the stitching package. I believe if you order seats in full leather the GTS logos are not available but I'm not 100% on that. Other interior appearance options included aluminum peddles, matte carbon fiber package, colored tach in white to match the Porsche Design clock, and Porsche Crest on the Alcantara center console. Then I stopped checking boxes before it was to late to turn back!!!

You are correct about the GTS logo on the seats. A rule of thumb is: If the seat centers are Race Tex, you get the GTS logo. If your seat centers are leather, no GTS logo (but you can opt for the Porsche Crest). It's the same deal with ventilated seats, which is only available if the seat centers are leather.

So after hearing back from my SA, it appears Porsche will do the steering wheel individually, with the 12 o’clock marker, for the low low price of $4900. That is not worth it for me so it looks like my options are either to skip it or hit the reset button with the GTS interior package and pivot to the deviated stitching.
