just take a ride to flat6, I'm assuming if you get there early enough this is a one day job for them.

I wish it was that easy. At this point in my life I don’t have the time to do that.

I just had my Öhlins installed at Flat6. Highly recommend and reasonable price.

Honestly, for those prices it would be worth it (…and worth the coordination and better use of your time) to go to F6 and have them install your BILSTEINS at half of the quoted prices. Like you and I discussed a few days ago, the prices you are being quoted are insulting, and those shops are absolutely raping customers.

….and for the love of taking care of our brother, can some Floridian RennLister please go over to Master’s place and install his BOV’s for him?!? 😁 I would do it if I lived there.

I could do it but I’m also truthfully nervous having never done more than oil changes and swapping a flat tire. It’s the one regret having never learned when I was younger. Would love if someone local had a similar car and would teach me how to different stuff and then I could learn. One day when my baby gets older, I’ll have more time to learn and tinker.

The shop I’ll likely use is charging $2,650 plus tax for install and alignment so it’s probably worth spending $600-700 more to stay local and not have to take a day off work. I won’t have time to make it to Orlando until 2027.

A shop 35 mins away just quoted me $2,400 all in for everything so I will proceed with them. Looks like the area I live in is just expensive all around. Should have these installed this month.

Ok, now we are starting to get closer to reasonable territory. I would like to see $2k, but $2,400 is significantly better than the other quotes.

Has anyone had either the Bilstein Evo SE, or a different suspension upgrade, fitted to a 992.2 T-Hybrid GTS? I use my car on track, and I'm finding the factory suspension too high, and too floaty, so I'm trying to find a way of both lowering and firming it up. It sounds like for a non-GTS car, the Evo SE achieves that. But looking at a post further up, it looks like a GTS actually has firmer suspension than this kit already, so it would actually be a downgrade. I'm not looking for looks, but actual chassis dynamics and performance on track. My car has SPASM and FAL. Any direct experience would be appreciated.

The Bilstein SE’s are a far more capable suspension than the OEM GTS suspension.
