Personally, I'd want to be at the original Dealer to inspect it. Then, depending on how far the drive is, would want to drive it home myself and get some break-in miles on the clock. But I'm retired and my kids are grown so that's an easy decision for me. Good luck with the car whichever decision you make.

Question to the community. I’m scheduled to pick up my 992 GTS from a dealer in another state. They have offered the option to send the vehicle to my state and location with out seeing the vehicle. Would you advise that I fly there and see it and inspect it first then have it shipped across state. Or should I rely on a video walkthrough. Appreciate it.

I debated vs more traditional feel, but then thought RAS is a “weapon” of performing cars and the GTS is that, so let’s have that experience.
My goal is try track but really for roads and “everyday”.

Turbo s winter set works on the GTS no issues.

Bottom line, battery or no battery headaches, get the RAS and PDCC if you plan on tracking or driving your car aggressively and take it seriously. If not, save the money. You won't believe how even/flat the car stays in high speed curves.
I also have a 2017 Chevy SS Sport Sedan (look it up if you care) and there's a S-shaped curve leading to a 60mph freeway I take sometimes. Traffic sign says to go 25mph. The fastest I've taken it in the Chevy is about 55mph-ish on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S' before the back end wants to get squirrely. Same place in the Panamera when I first got it I took it at a 102mph and the only thing stopping me from going faster was me chickening out even though the car was completely planted and not leaning a bit. I couldn't believe it. These cars are truly amazing. Have fun! Be safe, but have fun!
Edit: I'm a dope and made a mistake. I fixed it above, but to be clear, if want PDCC, you also have to choose RAS. I had it the other way around. Sorry!!

Drives me nuts that most of the wheel options on GTS are dark. Polished/silver wheels (as evidenced by the last couple of pics posted) look soooooo good.

Had to draw my "special wish" wheel option for my GTS order; cup car CL.
