What do you think looks better--the GT Silver Targa I posted above, or the same config in Chalk?
What about the headlights?--those appear to be the regular LEDs, not the matrix. I like the look of the matrix a little better, but not $2k better. Especially since you get black either way with the GTS.
The Matrix headlights are a gamble. Currently their functionality is little if any different than the standard LED lights. I bet on the possibility that the matrix lights are upgradable to Eurospec once approved and went for the option. (DOT has approved the concept in general, but each manufacturer must get approval.) I could be wrong, and if so I’m out roughly $2K.
imho, Chalk doesn’t go well with the black GTS theme. Separately, I personally like the regular PDLS headlights better than the X-Men style matrix headlights.
I also prefer a color that would stand out in a car crowd (where most cars out there are shades of grey, whites, blacks and dark blues).
As an example, in pictures shared here before we can clearly see the Shark Blue 911 GTS in a parking lot. Whereas silvers and grays are lost in the background.

I too think Chalk looks terrible, especially with all this black on the GTS, everyone should probably get other colors, let’s just retire chalk
So I’ve only had it a few months and just came to the horrifying conclusion that I only take pics out when it’s cloudy. I think when it’s sunny I just focus on driving. I can post some showroom lighting / sunny day pics if it helps with your decision.
That GT Silver Targa is freaking awesome and you cannot go wrong with that. These cars look beautiful in so many colors. If I I had a billion dollars, I’d probably buy all the 911 model variants in a few different colors each generation. Of course I’d have to pay a guy to configure each one for me, because the time on the configurator for that many cars each Gen would be a couple weeks of work.
Chalk never photographs as good as it looks, you always get comments when you show it to people on the phone like “oh I love white cars.” My dad knew it wasn’t white but hadn’t see the car in person and when he did see it, he was like oh this is so much prettier than what the pics I had been sending showed him.
I know some people don’t like how it looks when it’s cloudy as you lose some of the special that chalk gives you in the sun.

My current 992 is a placeholder while I wait for my GTS allocation. Nevertheless, I do love Chalk. Just not in a GTS with the black theme. Chalk looks great with the Classic wheels. Still, it also has the problem of getting lost with all the other cars. My GTS will be either Shark Blue or Guards Red. I can’t seem to make-up my mind…

Looks like it is going fast already already, even though it is standing still.. the phone camera doesn't do much justice to the color though! Enjoy the beautiful GTS
