Its definitely top 2- I think while I dont drive it as much as my new M8, I do enjoy it more and love the optics thus posting the pics in different lights... The chassis dynamics and just the feeling of being in a seat vs on it has me coming back alot. Its not my fastest car or my loudest or my most tech advanced but its the true driver experience wise.
I really dont have a DD per se- just whats on my mind.
Dont laugh but I also have a Tesla Plaid for novelty purposes; I had to see what 1000hp via an electric car feels like. And its rather nuts plus the car has given me no quality issues... yet.

TYD finally extended to Japan this month, and I got all of my updates suddenly just a couple days ago (including the final completion photo from the assembly line below). I initially placed a deposit in November 2021 for a C2 GTS, which was delayed several times. I was offered a build lock that would have been among the last of the 22s with a few options missing (including Aerokit, Bose, and Alcantara visors to match the roof liner), so I opted to push back to a MY23 and hope that those options would become available if I waited a little while longer. Thankfully, I managed to get everything in my desired spec and now the car is waiting at Emden for a Japan-bound ship (estimated arrival in Feb/March). This will be my first P car and I designed it as a kind of homage to my godfather's 930 Turbo in Guards Red, the car that turned me into a "car guy" the moment I laid eyes on it at four years old. Will wrap the upper lid of the Aerokit in matte black and add the rear fender rock guards in matte black as well to complete the look. I've got two small kids and the streets in Tokyo can be extremely narrow, so the GTS fit my needs perfectly (and I also strongly prefer RWD) compared to other trim levels. I also just find the GTS the most visually appealing of the current 911 lineup. Can't wait to see it in the metal soon.

I had a black on black Plaid that I nearly took delivery of while waiting for my 992. Just before it was to be delivered, I found the e39 m5; modded exactly as I'd have done. It scratched a very old itch, so I bought it and passed over the Plaid. The Plaid's only fault is that it's sort of plain compared to the cars it embarrasses regularly. That's part of its charm, tbh. I'm a fan.
