Anyone order Carmine Red yet? Is this a metallic color?
I considered both and ended up getting GR once I saw CR in person. I preferred GR because it is “in your face red”, visible 2 miles down the road. Just what I wanted for my C2S Cab. YMMY.

Mine arrived yesterday, a few quick pre PDI pics. The stripes on the roof are done incredibly well. The slate inserts look so much better than this picture depicts.

I had a CR GT4 and just took delivery of a Sharky GTS Cab.
Now- I am a red car sports car guy. Once had a 997.2 Turbo in GR.
Never been a big blue fan but there was something about SB that made me order it- Actually my 12 year old wanted me to order it I was leaning towards GT Silver
To my surprise I am so glad I listened to my Son. It is just a phenomenal looking color. Looks so close to Voodoo blue. I would take Sharky over CR. But- SB is very loud. It is bright but deep all at the same time. I can tell you this; I have had many Porsches but for some reason I get a lot of middle age Women who will just pull up next to me and smile.

I had a Midnight Blue Metallic 997.1 and was sure I would do the Night Blue Metallic on my 992 and then decided somewhat late in the build process to switch to Gentian for more pop. Changed my wheels too. It is more purple-y but not really in a bad way and has a lot of depth and looks great in so many different lighting situations. I feel like the Night Blue Metallic from pics I saw was also darker than my 997.1 color. My other option was Chalk but I hadn't seen it and wasn't sure I wanted to go with the lighter color. I think I would have loved that too. It's the car, not the color at the end of the day. But Gentian really looks great in the sun.

HA interestingly enough my 12 year old is the one pushing for Shark Blue! Might have to listening to him now!
