On my way currently to the factory collection to pick up my 4GTS. Also ordered FAL on mine after much deliberation - my thought was better to have it and not need it as opposed to need it and not have it.

I skipped FAL. The 911 actually has almost 2 inches more clearance than my M5 did and I rarely scraped in the M5. I love the concept and the GPP feature alone almost got me to add it on, but at the end of the day, it isn't very relevant to my usage.
I did end up ordering it since I also had it on my 992 GT3. without it on that car, it never would have made it into my driveway. so I figured better to have it then not to.
On the GTS, they give you the dark brushed aluminum trim but seem to leave the two pieces on either side of the center counsel the original trim. Am I missing something? Is that some other material? I don't have my car yet (just pictures), but I just looked at other interiors and it seems these two panels stay the same regardless of wood, CF, whatever.

It's like that in all cars, AFAIK. You're not "missing" anything

i think I realize why I went with this color combo. I must have been getting subliminal messages from the gym!! No carbon fiber there, just lots of iron

Very, very pleased with the High Gloss Pack, think it looks great, esp with the HGB wing mirrors. Only removed the red calipers as there was no other red on the car. I’d have liked the PCCBs but couldn’t justify the extra £££. Seem to get quite a bit of dust at the mo. Still only 600m in though.

Reason why I stuck with the Satin Black. You do not see the dust
