Default CarPlay question 2022

So when I first connected CarPlay when I received a text message Siri read me the message then asked if I wanted to reply.

now I do not get option to reply? Is this a setting in pcm or on iPhone?

thanks!

Carplay settings are on your iPhone

you might have it set up with do not disturb. So you won’t get notified of the incoming texts

Can you not see messages on CarPlay in the PCM? Regardless CarPlay essentially mirrors the phone, perhaps you have a filter set in messages on the phone? As in this button here:

No filter set. It pops up in pcm, reads the message, then disappears. No option to reply with Siri

Exact same thing was happening to me yesterday. Out of the blue after working fine. Did you ever figure it out?

Very odd, mine's been working fine. Need to take a look later today now, it's a really handy part of CarPlay. Although my car is a '20 so PCM 5

On the phone, under settings/focus/driving is there anything set on?

Maybe delete the car from your phone and reconnect from scratch. Since you didn't change a setting (even accidentally since to seems to be affecting others as well), it's unlikely that changing a setting will fix it.
