The 1/6/23 delivery date is just a place holder and has no basis in reality. Pretty much all of the Porsches on that ship got pushed to that date.
I have a Gentian Blue Macan S on that ship. The wait has been brutal. The not knowing has been worse.

Someone above mentioned Porsche could fix damage without disclosing? What is that based on? In my view they will need to certify no damage or specify exactly what damage there was.

My understanding is that ship has not docked yet. Given that, how could there be any evaluation, at this juncture, of whether any particular car has been damaged, or not?

My dealer told me they got some report while it was docked in Davisville. My guess is they looked at some of the cars which had come loose, without unloading them in that port. Otherwise he wouldn't have told me clearly that my particular car was in contact with another one. Probably they didn't get to check all of them in the few days it was docked there.

After checking Vesselteacking everyday, the Composer finally shows signs to be moving again.

i have a ‘22 Macan S on board, ordered in early December. Problem is, I already sold my Wife’s car expecting delivery of the new one this week. If it doesn’t happen, I’ll have to figure out what to get asap.

In same boat (no pun intended). Sold my 09 Boxster S in anticipation of new GTS that is on this ship.

I got an update from my dealer matching what others have mentioned. They are getting cars from that ship undamaged and Porsches were at the bottom. No confirmation no my car yet. What’s not adding up is that one earlier comment was that a whole track failed, if that was in the upper levels, then why did anything change for delivery dates and delay for Porsches?

i haven’t heard from my dealer, but I called PCNA and after I talked with an agent, I waited about 30 mins while she did some research and said that my VIN was not on the damaged list. I asked if she had seen others on the list and she said yes, so I guess PCNA has a list of damaged vehicles.

Maybe Porsche is just being cautious ? I hope what you are saying is true, and that the cars are swiftly processed !

I am off for a month on the 9th of April, and damn I hope I have the car with me before that.

Interesting. Does your TYD still list a delayed delivery date? What number did you call?
