Default SFL Conductor watch - Davisville ETA 3/21

My new Targa GTS is on this ride, I’m sure I’ll be checking the status all the way across the ocean. Thought I’d start a thread for people who want to track it and talk about their cars, without spamming the other discussions.

This is the free update from vesselfinder, they may be better ways to track it.

Thank you! Our Taycan is on the Conductor as well. We’re offloading in Jacksonville with a delivery in Pompano Beach at Champion Porsche. Looking forward to a nice smooth, uneventful couple of weeks tracking this ship.

I love the Taycan, would really like to get one in the future. I have a Chalk Targa GTS coming to Virginia.

Great looking car! We love the 992, but we’re reducing the fleet to a single vehicle, so I pre-traded my 981 (that was a great car) and we’re trading in our Macan when the Taycan is ready, it was a simply more practical for us. Someday maybe…here’s our configurator photos-

I’m really curious to see how long it takes to get from port, through processing and to the dealer. I think my dealer is like 60 minutes away in Arlington. I’m getting the car PPF’d immediately so will add another week or so without the car. I’ve been waiting since last June from getting on the list, so another few weeks probably won’t kill me. The more real it gets the waiting gets more obvious. Like when you are waiting for an allocation, you can almost forget about it compared to when it had been produced.

NO PPF on this one for me except for the door handle area. Previous toys all had PPF. I do not track and I have spent a lot of money on PPF and never had a blemish on the PPF so skipping it this time.

I have a Cabrio coming so will tint all around. - 50 on the front and 35 all around. Will have Paint correction and Gtech Serum light /Gtech EXO coatings applied.

Thinking of having Satin Black film applied to the painted section that surrounds the whole windshield so it matches the Black Cabrio top.- all comments welcomed on doing this

I think in the 992 waiting room another member on a shark blue cab was thinking about that wrap.

My thoughts are it would look cool top up, but I thought it might look weird top down. I suggested that I would photoshop it (or ask someone to) and see if I like it. It’s probably not super expensive to do, so you could just do it and love it you are good, if not then it’s just wrap.

Jimmy D someone in the other thread posted a Boxster with the black wrap on the windshield. It looks freaking awesome on that white / chalk color. You’ve got my vote.

Great looking car, Porsche really makes you wish you could get one of each and that’s before you get started on color. I didn’t get that picture, was hoping I would have.

I got these, hoping they added doors and wheels

Waited months for the car, but gosh these next few weeks seem like an eternity! Patiently waiting for mine to dock at Davisville and then down to Long Island.

Vessel finder wasn’t updating, so used Marine Watch to find our cars. Finally out in the open water, insane how many vessels are out there.
