Default Help! Bunch of error messages popping up on my 2022 C4S

I finally finished installing a dashcam by hardwiring to a 10 AMP large blue fuse that sits vertically in the fuse panel on Passenger's side by using 'Add-A-Circuit Fuse Tap'.
After job was all done, I am getting bunch of error messages popping up on dash including following.
Ignition lock error service required, Start/stop failure, Lane keep asssit restricted, etc...

Engine starts fine but the error messages do not disappear.

Before I decided to use 10 AMP large blue fuse, I first tried it on 20 AMP large yellow fuse but for some reason, it was not getting power and I unplugged and plugged the fuse and plugged it back in while engine was running (I'm guessing that it must have triggered an error.

Has anyone had such issue before?
Would performing disconnect/reconnect the battery, do any reset? or would it cause more issues to arise?
Thank you guys!

Did you disconnect the dash cam and see if the problem still exists?
For future reference, I would not go plugging and unplugging fuses while the engine is running. You can cause issues with your ECU.

You can try disconnecting the battery. Let things sit for about 15-20minutes and reconnecting it. I would definitely try that with the dashcam disconnected. Hopefully, things come back to life and you didn’t break anything.

Fuse removal while engine was running happened without thinking straight.
Have you disconnected battery and reconnected without any issues? Was any stored info auch as user settings, garage door, etc… still remained saved?

Your problems are probably to do with your diy on the fuses with which others may be able to help. However, you may also want to make sure your battery is fully charged. If you are working on the car and let the battery get a bit low, which doesn't take as long as you would think, the car can throw some error codes. I had a couple a while ago and they cleared after a good charge. 🤞 for you.

Perhaps you should talk to Nick Murray.

You two seem to be "dash cam" brothers from another mother.

Update for those who may run into the same or similar issue as I did.
I started the engine, idle for a few minutes, and turned engine off.
After repeating the same for 4-5 times, all error messages magically disappeared like self healing process.

Great news. It’s always satisfying to NOT fry your own car. Enjoy!

you may also want to reconsider which fuse slot you're using. I like to use one that is either empty or tied to something that will not mess up the car if something goes wrong.

I you plugged into the passenger side, there's an empty fuse slot that gets power in the C bank (beige) down 12 slots (i posted my install here: https://rennlist.com/forums/992/1260...l#post17839653).

has been working well for me for a couple months now.

I actually saw your thread and used 12th slot on C.
Your thread was very helpful. Thank you!
