@aggie57 can you scan a copy of the work order removing your name and other personal details please? The more info we have the better we can get a picture of what was done and wasn't. Thanks!

For sure, see attached. I've included the dates of each service - 1st was on August 11th, second September 2nd, and the 3rd on October 8th.

Reading your sticky though, looks like my car left the shop on that last visit with the Connect module at 0412, not 0420. Thing is though, it's has been fine since; hope this helps.

Thank you!

Your CCU software version is 0412 it should be 0420.

So now we truly have no idea what the Bulletin is supposed to address... fingers crossed that this actually solved your issue. This BMS is a mess.

Isn’t it totally weird; my car has certainly ‘come right’ since this last visit, and the voltage fluctuations have completely disappeared as well. I literally don’t touch the car for a week and she starts first crank.

I've pointed my Porsche contact to this thread in the hopes it will shed some light onto this issue as it's untenable as it is. Is this patch only for AGM batteries or does it apply across the board to LiFePO4? From there the permutations are endless but there needs to be a solution.

The most important thing is to make PCNA own this issue; it’s not acceptable that a modern car can be disabled like this. As I’ve said before, it’s not fit for purpose otherwise.

So, what do I do if I take my 992 with RWS to the airport in the winter and park it....on a 5 day trip. Normal car: it will just start. These cars - perhaps not a sure thing. That is just not acceptable.

And while I had a wonderful AG battery, in the winter it had issues so I put an AGM back in and have not had those issues. I miss the cool battery...but the battery needs to work in the cool.

Anti Gravity and forget about it. It has a remote that will start a dead battery. Never had any issues with it and I hardy drove the car for a year due to a knee Surgury.

Got a low battery warning 2 days ago and it's been at my dealer for a week... They said the computer board on the Lithium Ion was causing issues... Need a new whole battery, 11k miles, 2020 C2S... Cost is insane.

To clarify - they want you to pay even though they've identified and acknowledged an issue with the battery?

Please find out if you had TSB #2229 and if not if they will install the update. I'm pretty sure this is not a battery issue but a BMS one. But will P own up to it?

should be covered under warranty. Mine was the same situation and I didn't pay a dime. Biggest problem was finding a new one, for which I got lucky.

Batteries are tricky issues as it can be inferred that you caused willfully or by neglect the battery to fail. As mentioned above, supply is one problem, the other just as important is the good will of the dealer/PNA. GL
