I am on the waiting list at my local dealer for a Targa 4S. Like many of you in my situation, I have created multiple different builds on the configurator but have finally decided on what I want. It was a build I created some time ago yet is still my favorite. It included a chalk exterior with a red Targa roof. But now when I try to recreate that build on the configurator, there is no longer a choice for the Targa roof color. The only available color appears to be black.

Has anybody noticed this? Has Porsche decided to only make black roofs for Targa's? I really liked that red & chalk look & will now have to rethink the exterior color (and the interior too) if that's the case.

All the choices are there now: Black, red, blue, and brown.

Chalk with red would not be my choice, but if you like it, go for it!

I was set on Chalk with red and the Bordeaux/Black interior. But the more I looked at pictures, the less sure I was that the red roof was a darker red like the Bordeaux. At the end of the day, I chickened out and went with the black roof. Every once in a while I see a picture of the red Targa or Cabrio roof that looks nice and rich and dark and I have pangs of regret. I just couldn't pull the trigger without having seen the color in person.

I just went to the configurator to build a Targa 4S. There are still no choices for the roof color other than black. I am not sure why you see all colors & I only see black.
