Default Aftermarket Cup holder?

A drink in the center cup holder makes it hard to get your hands on the shifter. I would imagine it's not a problem with a PDK but with the manual where you have to shift all the time that water bottle is in the way.

Anyone got a good alternative cup holder solution for the 992?
Thanks in advance!

Since I have a manual, I ditched the center console cup holder and got an Ultimate Cup Holder and love it.

I gave up trying to use the cup holder with my MT 992's. I either use the passenger cup holder, or keep a water bottle and screw on the cap and put it in the door pocket.

I realize that this is an old thread, but since it doesn't seem like there was a resolution, The Rex Werks cup holder upgrade is a great option for manual 992 owners looking for a cup holder!

Other threads mentioned the Machined Speed holder that sits nice.

You show a picture of a car that does not have 4-way sport seats. Does your cup holder sit clear of the manual fore/aft adjustment handle?

Does your car have the luggage net?

The cup holder position is adjustable, in the 991 with manual seats, the passenger seat must be all the way back to fit the bracket in before the luggage net.

I will try to get my hands on another 992 in order to check out this concern in particular. I am also working on another bracket that can clear the larger trim of the 992 luggage net so that you could install it over the luggage net if you are interested.

There is someone selling his Ultimate Cup Holder on the Buy/Sell page but his price is way overinflated. I will post his link for anyone who may be interested.

What I can state is has been the best soulution that has been offered as it holds pretty much any size cup (I use a 30oz Yeti) and can sit on either side of they center console w/o having to bolt/screw anything in. Takes about 5 seconds or less to install or remove.Used it on track, fun runs, etc and never once worried about spills. Hardly visible unless looking and seems to stay out of the way of the passengers legs as well.

Not as elaborate as some and shame that they are no longer available. I believe they were like $25 shipped a couple of years ago so the seller is certainly trying to make a few extra $$ but can’t fault them I guess.

Thanks for your order! Love the Cartagena yellow, by the way!

By the way, this cup holder also installs in seconds, depending on how fast you move!

See the installation video below:

Anyone try the Rennline for the 991/718.981? It looks like it may work.

I finally got the notch shape just how I wanted it to fit the 991 and 992, and was able to get some photos and update the website offerings.

So now, you can install the bracket pretty much as far forward as you want, guaranteeing that it will not interfere with the manual seat lever, so long as you position it out of the way.
