Oh, I am thrilled at what I got at trade-in. I’ve never experienced so little depreciation with a car that I bought new. The fascinating part for me is waiting to see what they ask for it, because they’re going to ask more than they paid for it.

Can't watch this guy. Tried to watch one of his other videos. Occasionally he'll show some interesting data but the analysis he provides is still little more than trying to guess where there is no real precedent.
Also he may be trying to walk back some of his previous estimates (last fall IIRC), where he suggested the 992 was lagging behind other generations. What I'm guessing he missed in his analysis is that part of the reason for the jump in used car pricing was that new cars are hard to come by, and I think shortly after his videos this was validated by more commonly seeing ADMs being added to new car prices.
Anyway, I tried to watch him again here and I just can't do it.
Here's the link to his older video for reference, maybe someone who has more patience/tolerance can make it through it and provide a breakdown.

I’m pretty sure, but not 100% I watched a video of this guy proclaiming the GTS was the best Carrera for resale, but when I froze the charts, they clearly indicated the carrera S actually had a better depreciation per mile..

I didn't watch the whole video so didn't catch his assertion that the 992 is plateauing, though I would say that I like his videos but there is a lot wrong with them from a methodological perspective (ergo I wouldn't read into his conclusions too much)
All that said, I think there is some credence to it. I watch 992s pretty closely while waiting for an allocation and have seen a few used ones listed below MSRP in the past few weeks. I don't think I saw any listed below MSRP between roughly August/September 2021 and January 2022, so it is somewhat interesting to see a few start to pop up below sticker (again these are used cars so the market is still crazy - just maybe cooling a tad).

detansinn - you traded your car in? Aren't you the one that has put a lot of miles on your car? Looks like you have a Taycan now. How many miles did you have at trade-in?

I bet you ...99% of people ( given the choice ) would take a GTS over an S.
Therefore, will always be more GTS on the used market than S.
Does it make sense ?
When you tell your "Porsche friends" I want to buy a C2S. And they say , No , no , no, buy a 4S. It never happened to you ?

I was just reinforcing your statement...
Did not look at charts.
But an S having better resale than a GTS, does not really surprise me. Although , maybe it should...
