Does it make sense ?
I would take that bet, as 99% seems high to me (or like me). The perceived value of the GTS package diminishes significantly if you don't want center lock wheels (which I did not want). And their alternative 5 bolt wheel choices are very limited. That's one of the reasons I opted for a C4S cab rather than a GTS. That and the fact that the car doesn't need any more HP (for me) than the S has. Frankly, I would have probably ordered another base C4 cab if they sold them with MTs like my erstwhile 991.2 C4 cab. That car was fast enough for me to enjoy it greatly.

Did not look at charts.
But an S having better resale than a GTS, does not really surprise me. Although , maybe it should...
Not getting into another S vs GTS debate (I ordered a GTS): maybe I am misreading your post, but if your assertion is accurate that the vast majority of people want GTS is accurate, wouldn't that mean fewer GTSs on the used market? You have a fixed but unequal supply of both (the number made) and higher demand for the GTS. That should result in fewer GTS on the used market and used GTS demanding higher resale prices..

Maybe the 992 values went up because the Felicity Ace's sinking....

Too soon?

2021& 2022 base Carrera's, with 500 to 2,000 miles on them are averaging about 150K, within 500 miles of me.

Well, I just bought a 992 in December, so that would be about time for the values to start falling. Lol. I plan on keeping it for a long time, though.
