Yes, after the 997 was tagged “the last analog 911”, values shot up, especially manuals. 997.2 PDK also do well. The tiptronic 997.1 cars are the cheapest entry point, but that slushbox sucks and ratios are all wrong.
As of any of us who have owned and/or driven a 997, the “analog” part is a gross overstatement. Yes, hydraulic steering and NA, but lots of dated cars electronics and gremlins with those cars.

But it’s basically going to be easier to get a drop of unicorn tears than an allocation for the ST. And cheaper too.
