Default Passenger Door Rattle

I've had a passenger door rattle pretty much since I got the car. I had the dealer take a look at it and they fixed it for about 6 months, but it has come back.

I remember seeing a couple of posts a while back indicating that this was a relatively common rattle and dealers had an updated part to fix this rattle? Does anyone have any idea where those threads might be or could maybe shed some light on this issue if they've had the rattle and had the noise permanently resolved?

I just had my passenger door rattle fixed. It was a blown speaker which was replaced and all is now fine. (The rattle would manifest at certain road noise frequencies even if the sound system was off)

Seems Porsche uses really cheap speakers. (Bose)

Hm. I think last time they determined it wasn't a blown speaker?

I know of at least three passenger door rattles; speaker, bottom plastic piece that goes across entire door bottom (creaking noise), broken clip in door pull mechanism.

My passenger door has a rattle. A bit of pressure (not much) on the top of the panel will stop it. Afraid to take to dealer.

Maybe confused me with someone else? I did not know what it was until the blown speaker issue was diagnosed.

Why afraid? It's under warranty. If the dealers do not get calls to fix this issue then it will never get back to Porsche to improve their QA.

I've learned the lesson the hard way with dealers. Asking them to fix "little" things like a rattle usually yields mixed results. Sometimes its fixed, sometimes I get additional rattles.

Common issue, ended up being the lower door seal causing the rattle. Dealer replaced it and no issue since last year

That’s a broken clip, door card needs to come off and clip replaced, easy for dealer.
