But that would likely require to shutoff the spoiler? They don't show how it looks with the spoiler up. Besides all the stability issues people will raise (no pun), I think it won't look harmonious up.

Fit and finish is always difficult to tell over a few pictures.

I think it looks really good… very similar to the stock duckbill on a 992 GT3 (once swan neck spoiler is removed). If I installed this, I would 100% code the rear spoiler to never deploy because it will look and function like crap if raised.

When certain Porsche VARs charge what they do (valid only for "contiguous States") by insisting on shipping a gasket, for example, via FedEx or UPS, I don't have a problem with shipping something like that insured from Taiwan for $500 bucks.

No they said the up/down mechanism would not be impacted. Will look into this as I definitely don't like the aerokit but love ducks all the way back when I installed it on my 911 Targa. But you're right it took me a while to get the fit and finish right (was a fiberglass part from a VAR).

Will inquire as to pictures, warranty etc. and post

Looks good but fit / finish on stuff like that is really a crap shoot. I'm sure a good body shop could make it look good in the end but at what cost? I'd prefer someone else be "first on the bus" and then report back to the rest of us on their experience. Are you that guy?

To be honest, I think this look great, except for the “future design” logo. Like others, I would also be worried about the fit and quality.

The aerokit is over 6 grand, this will be slightly over one and IMHO looks a lot better than the table (IMO). I think it's worth a shot to get more info and then see if we can get interest in a group buy/discount.

Is it the origin of the item that you're against or the design? A duck tail will be a duck tail only the price will differ.

Ugh. No. Never. Why would you put a Chinese aftermarket part on your new Porsche you just got? Chances are very good that when it arrives, your body shop guy will just shake his head and say "I'll do the best I can to make it fit, but no guarantees".

The Reason the shipping is $ 500 is because......shipping on EBAY is non-refundable. So when you get it and it looks unfinished, they know you are not going to sent it back. If you want a ducktail, get a reputable aftermarket supplier one that likely will be 4x the price, because it will look factory and give you the fit and finish that you want for a $ 150K car.
