Thanks. Really appreciate your efforts in getting this part made. I really like what I see. However, I am concerned w/ some of the imperfections in the part which I've circled in red. I wonder how smooth the finished product will be and if the body shop will end up having to fill and smooth all of these various areas. If not, once painted a glossy color, these imperfections would stand out. I'd like to see a finished installed product before I sign up. Don't mind waiting and paying $1K if finished product comes out as clean as the OEM part.
some of this is lighting, some of it is finishing. But yes the proper way to paint any primered product is to sand, clean, sand, and clean again. So I'll be happy to provide you the end result once painted. You'll be able to see anything in red so there question once finished
Ok well this was way easier than I thought! and the fit looks great! Let me know who wants one. I think I got it down to $1k shipped via ups or Fedex (as opposed to waiting for boat shipment)
WOW! I want one! Would you mind posting a few zoomed out photo so we can see the entire rear with the new wing?
So I'll keep this list/offer out for maybe a week and see if we get enough interest. If we get 5 or more then price goes to $900 shipped. Less than 5 its $1000 shipped. Here is the list

Hey guys, just letting you know it looks like its about $150 cheaper if you don't mind waiting for a boat shipment. Its about 55 days lead time.
No update on paint or anything yet. Being the smart guy that I am, I had the harness unplugged that controls the spoiler and the engine cover, and I closed the cover and now can't get it open since the release is controlled by that harness. So I'm working on trying to find out where the emergency cable release in the 992 is (apparently nobody knows)

wow, so you say now $750 shipped if you get 5 or more :-)
I have one more question and maybe it was answered somewhere in this thread. This aftermarket duckbill is designed to replace the OEM lid and therefore has the same mounting points and hardware as the simple OEM lid? Or in other words, it does not have the GT3 mounting, which would require to replace a lot more parts underneath.
