DMC Duck wing
I like this one and it seems a relatively good fit, (although I would have preferred it without the integrated light)
Anyone has any experience with DMC products?

That being said, when it comes to GT3 duckbills, there's no shortage of options in the space and at a variety of price points:
- OEM is $7k, as you said
- DMC is $3,200 to $4,800 depending on if you want a deck lid or not
- DarwinPro has one at $2,250
- Future Design makes one for about $1,500 shipped
- 9xxTeile at $1400 and looking somewhere between the GT3 and Sport Classic
- Moshammers at $2,500 with its double-lip design
- Wicked's layered-looking wing at $5,000 is not my cup of tea, but I'm sure someone has bought one
The market already has several carbon copies of the GT3 wing to choose from, and they are available at different price points and at different levels of plug-and-play for installation.

For those wanting the GT3 mini duck bill alone... Might want to give this guy's video a view:

I would actually like to see some wind tunnel or track testing with the duckbill alone. It’s not like the GT3 duckbill offers no aerodynamic assistance. The angle of the duckbill is very similar to that of the active aero wing when deployed.

I like the video, but the swearing gets a bit old, guess he needs to work on expanding his vocabulary.
Nicest looking duck tail and definitely better than the Chinese version with the glaring logo on the back.

In seriousness though, as it pertains to 992 owners there’s a pretty big difference between taking off a giant wing on a car that’s supposed to have one, and adding a small duck tail to a car that doesn’t.
The relevant takeaway from that video should be whether a ducktail like the one on the GT3 creates similar downforce as the stock spoiler when it is engaged and lifted. Personally, when I eyeball it, I don’t think it does. I’m not sure whether that changes the price of bread, though. I think Porsche did the math, and that’s why the Sport Classic ducktail look the way it does.

I’ll agree that I don’t like the logo blazing on the Chinese version, but it is ultimately a non-issue for me. Either way, I’m sanding and prepping the piece for paint, so getting rid of that logo is an extra 15 minutes of work during a task that already sees me using the right tools for the job.

Does anyone know of anyone with actual photos of the Future Design ducktail installed on a car other than theirs?
The photos on their site are hard to gauge being on a white car in a studio with perfect overhead lighting...
I also think i read somewhere else that the install will disconnect wiring for the 3rd brake light, and will throw codes that require a trip to the dealer to get rid of -- can't seem to find it though.
