Summer cars here are 5 to 6 months out of the year max. Having one of these to use year round would be amazing

I have an Evo RWD. The sterrato will be cool but not nearly as usable as the Dakar. Looks like considerably less engineering was put into it.

I think the Dakar shows Porsche still has a sense of humour. Track cars and lap times are a focused and serious business. This is the antithesis of that. It's cheeky, it's a homage to a car that is a legitimate part of Porsche's history, and it's entirely useable. I hope at least some of the people that buy it, run up huge miles, take it on amazing adventures, and end up covering the car in a lovely patina that tells the story of their exploits.
I feel the Sterrato is also fun, but Lambo has always been about the outrageous and different.
I think these cars are also a middle finger to the overwhelming woke-ness and offended-at-everything mindset that is sweeping our planet like a plague. I love them for that, if nothing else!

That would make sense, as Porsche offered livery packages reminescent of old in the Speedster and the following Heritage models.

Looks good, and they "fixed" the only thing I didn't like/understand on the prototype, which was the weird bulbus area below the license plate. They now have what looks like a proper skid plate.

Edit: The "Roughroad's" though is pretty cringe. I would skip the livery because of that unless the text is custom. Still think I would order non-livery version regardless.

I suspect the Rothmans livery will not be an option in the configurator, just used as a PR one-off like the Carrera RS tribute GT3 RS.

Thanks for the leaked images. I am not a big fan of the black plastic accents and I would go for a dark color or for the livery or maybe for the simple racing white if available.
Still courious about the specification and the suspensions.

But Porsche is making the RS Tribute GT3 RS as an option to buy for USA customers.... so not a good example. ;-)
