Probably my single biggest annoyance with this car. Do they not use garage door openers in Germany? I suspect not, because how this made it past testing I’ll never know. I’m sure someone at Amazon was laughing when I bought a new opener to hide in the car.

Yeah, I had to get over my pride a little on that one with my C2S.
I read some where that if there is one door programmed it will operate as described, it there are more it will pop up a screen asking you to select the door.

I believe the hard button is mapped to a specific door, but I don’t recall off the top of my head.
looks fantastic - congrats @rk-d . i'm not a green fan in general, but this one looks great.
Thanks! I wasn't particularly either. I'd have never guessed in a million years that this is the car I'd end up building when this started a year ago. Funny how that happens. It all worked out and I'm very happy with the end result. Still waiting on the HREs to come in and complete the look (though the OEMs do look good as is).

rk-d - LOVE the stance! Do you recall how many mm lower you had to go front and rear to achieve this look? Looks classy, not overly aggressive. No spacers, right? I never had luck with spacers in the past, they always create unwanted vibration. I have a set of techart HAS to install soon w/SPASM too. Thanks for any advice.
Any good videos on there too for 2022 models and homelink setups?

Close. P101SC. Frozen polished dark clear. Gonna be -10mm on the offset, so should be a flush fitment.
While i have never actually pulled the trigger, i've often debated in my head between the p101(sc) and the bbs fi-r. Both look amazing, both are fantastic manufacturers. I've got it in my head that I want JDM style wheels so I'm leaning those from Volk/RAYS if they ever make a 992 fitment. I do love swapping rims to personalize my cars.
The stopgap M5 I'm driving around came with blingy HREs and they've really grown on me. Usually I'd look for something more P101/FI-ish.
Looking forward to pics w the new shoes. I assume the lead time is in months?

Thanks! Honestly, I don’t really know how many mm drop this is.The dealer had a GT3 in house (which was lucky) and I asked them to just match that look.
Agree on spacers - I don’t like them. Finicky and if you are off a hair on the torque, you can get vibration. Can’t do spacers on CLs anyway. The wheels I’ve ordered should be a more flush fitment.
Haven’t seen any videos. It’s pretty straightforward - just have to fiddle with the menu a little. It programmed the remote super quick and I have a rolling code garage door. No problem.
