Submitted my 992 GTS Coupe order

It probably is (partially) a “resale thing”…but if you need it, you need it. Use it once, and you will be happy you have it. People say the front lip is easy and cheap to replace…I have the front and rear “sports facia” and the front lip is painted…so if it needs to be replaced, I doubt it’s a DIY cheap replacement.

FAL for my car is for in and out of my driveway. My 991.1 and 991.2 sometimes touched when getting out of the driveway but on the underpan aft of the front wheel. I’m hoping (pretty certain) that FAL on my soon to be GTS will eliminate that even though the touches with my two former 911’s were not severe.
I’m pretty light on options at $17K on the $137K base price in Porsche terms.

Had a deposit since early this year way before the announcement. Got the call and submitted my order. Here’s my spec - only thing I added after the fact is carbon illuminated door sills. $170k msrp. Will be here next year just in time for my 40th birthday. The wait begins. Can’t wait to go through the gears up Angeles Crest.
