i believe it's the corners of the tail lights that will illuminate. not 100% sure as the configurator isn't very clear either. more lights the better and it's cheap.

Strong build, though I’m not a racetex fan. But that’s personal preference. Always nice to see people check the MT box, especially a youngster of 40!
I eliminated RAS from my build since it seems like it binds you to buying an expensive battery from Porsche for replacement.
None of my cars have had FAL but I have taken out some spoiler lips over the years. Still cheaper than FAL and no increased maintenance.

You guys are really making me think I don’t need FAL.

I feel like it’s more of a resale thing. I’ll have to measure my MKIV Supra that’s lowered, but I’ve never once scraped in my city.

I was planning on it and have changed my mind. There is a somewhat recent thread with pictures showing 6 inches of clearance. My M5 only has 4 inches of clearance and rarely scrapes, so I figure 6 gives a sufficient “room for error”. I have to say I was tempted by the GPS feature but then started to worry that this is just one more thing to maintain/fix as I tend to keep my cars for long periods of time.

This is not something I would invest in as a “resale thing”. I doubt that you will recover your $3K plus carry costs at resale and I don;t see this as a must have feature from most buyers that would significantly affect the desirability of your car.

Congrats on the order! Placed my order for a 4 GTS yesterday! Also live in SoCal and decided on FAL.

id actually consider skipping a fal car given the choice with or without. i have to assume it adds significant weight - certainly complexity. i drove my 991.2 everywhere, both m5s were lowered. never an issue. the lower strip under the front bumper is easily replaced for under 200 bucks.

Can't believe the moderators allow this profanity on the forum✌️🤣.

On a more serious note, I've never had FAL and scrapped the plastic chin spoiler a few times, not bad enough to replace but it is a pretty cheap replacement if needed. I also don't have a steep driveway at my house or where I regularly drive. I'd say it depends on where you drive, I think you are the only one that can say if it's beneficial for you or not.

Also seems there are a fair amount of So Cal deliveries on here in the 1st run. I was told I'll get mine by June. Still crossing my figures that an aerokit will be available, but it's looking good.

I went with FAL for the first time. Last 911 I had I backed out of my sons driveway and tore the splitter off. Most likely not worth the money but most of the options I ordered aren't either. A friend of mine bought a used GT3 and FAL was a must for him.

First - FIGHT ON!

Second - I didn’t mention, I ordered FAL specifically because of my driveway. My guess is that’s where I’ll primarily use it.

Also love the chalk!
