Wheel help - Carrera S in Satin vs. Carrera Classic vs. Carrera S in Satin Black
Hey All,
Freeze date coming up and wanted to get some opinions on wheels for a base 992 since none of the dealers near me have anything in stock to look in person. I was going back and forth on body color with Chalk vs. GT Silver and think I have decided to go for Chalk.
I don't like the hollowed out black wheels look so have been debating between the Carrera S in Satin Platinum or Carrera Classic. The Satin Platinum looks great in the configurator but I have heard that it looks lighter in person and could clash with chalk, and Carrera Classic to me looks nice from side profile however it almost looks a bit too "curvy" from an angle, giving it a flower-like effect. Additionally, the Carrera S in Satin Black (3rd pic) actually looks pretty light but I think in real life they are much darker?
Anyone have these or have seen them in person to opine? I know it sounds crazy but I'm also debating adding PCCBs so not sure if that changes things. Thanks all.

I happen to love the Classics with a Chalk exterior. To me, they just look, well, classic. I might go with the monochrome center caps since you are doing the calipers in black - which I also like with the Chalk.

I love my Classics. They are stunning. And still very sporty. Period.

You can’t go wrong with the Classic imo, but I know I’m biased. While I haven’t seen it in person, Platinum Satin with Chalk doesn’t fit my eye. The S wheels are my least favorite of all the wheel choices, but Satin Black does go well with Chalk.

It's OK. I get a ton or compliments about black with Chalk. Each to their own.

Love the top picture of Satin Platinum - if it looks half as good as that in person, you are set. The Classic wheels "pop" in my opinion (on this config) - some may like that - I think it takes away from the subtlety of chalk .
