PTS - Grey Family
Just wondering has any gotten a 992 in a PTS color like Grigio Telesto or Fashion Grey? I am contemplating doing a PTS in either color but not sure if it would be worth the extra dough when I can get Chalk and call it a day. I have not been able to see a 992 (mostly just 991 GT3's) in any of those colors and I am curious to see what the 992 would like in particular in Grigio Telesto. Please share pics if so!

If you search the forum at the search bar above, you'll find the links to Fashion Grey and other grey colors. Just type in FASHION GREY for instance and all the posts where someone has ordered this color will come up. Fashion Grey is quite close to Chalk and at $12+K more so you can save a lot by going with Chalk of course.
Cheers,
Steve

Fashion grey is definitely different from Chalk - side to side you can easily pick out the differences, but on its own I’d bet most people would mistake FG for Chalk. That would be a problem for me - and I really like Fashion Grey (ironically I’m not a fan of Chalk).
Grigio Telesto is very different and looks nothing like Chalk. It looks a lot like Nardo Grey. Cool color on the right car (I think a GT3 in this color would look awesome).

I was having this discussion with another member just the other day.. For me, for 13k price tag to get PTS the color had/has to be different enough from a standard factory color to warrant the price. When I chose my original British racing green, there wasnt a green offered by Porsche for years. I love the grey colors, but it just seems like a lot of money to pay for a car that doesnt scream PTS. Thats not to say you have to get a Pink or Yellow color to justify the cost, just something a little louder and different from stock. This is my opinion only, I love the PTS gray colors when I see them in person and I personally know the stock from PTS colors well..

^ I agree, if you're going PTS you have to go way off the standard color chart to make worthwhile.

You guys are confirming my feelings...$13k is not worth it unless I go ***** all out on a really unique color...I think Chalk will work
