Now i know what my consultants must be feeling, when I chase after them for their weekly status report.

So I took the car in today and they confirm that its the gas tank valve sensor. The SA mentioned that its been a common fault for the 992, and most likely it'll be recalled by Porsche very soon.
They will order the part for me and its going to be about 1 day of work.

Commie, if you can, try to get them to take photos along the way.

depending on when the part arrives, this fix might be done in the spring.
I am in the Great White North, and my car will go into hibernation in a few weeks.

I did find my car’s twin at the dealership today. Lol
Mine is the one in the back.
the dealer is selling the one in the front, a 2020 C2S with 22,000 KM same option package as mine. Dealer asking 5k more than what my MSRP. Crazy world

given how half or more of the gauges are displays now, it would seem to me that something somewhere would just display that message, rather than relying on us understanding why it's blinking.

interesting that you consider those twins. wheels and trim color make a world of difference to these eys.

The parts arrived this week, and I just dropped off my car to the dealer this morning. They say it'll take the whole day for the fix, so I'll pick the car back up tomorrow. I've asked them to capture some pictures as they take out the old part. Lets see if they do this.

Good to know. With the weather forecast for the next few days, I was really on the fence whether to do this now or wait till the spring. But I know with my OCD, this will bug me all winter if i don't get it resolved now. lol

Luckily the flurries didn't amount to much this morning on my drive up to PCNT from downtown. Hoping the weather holds up tomorrow as well.
Interesting, this dealer doesn't have any loaner cars available at this moment, the SA mentioned that their loaners are all booked till mid december. They provided a shuttle car, which turned out to be an Uber for me to get back.

True true lol

I've never seen their lot so empty before. They do have a nicely restored white 930 in the showroom and the red 991 GT2RS that they've been trying to sell since the summer.
