My 981 GT4 was Agate Grey which was the only color (of the limited choices) that “spoke to me”. Obviously I love battleship Grey sports cars and enjoyed Agate which was very changeable in light.

I’ve wanted Slate since seeing it years ago at Rennsport Reunion and was thrilled to get the chance to spec it. I didn’t know there were two non-metallic Slate plus a metallic version (only for 911).

I don't see the love for these shades of gray. Obviously I know how popular nardo gray is (across multiple marques) but these cars always look "unfinished" to me.
