Given its popularity on the GT3 and the 718 lineup its kind of odd that you dont really see anyone choose this color on the 992. Is there an official Shark Blue thread I am missing somewhere? Lets see some pics if you have them!
i've done PTS Nogaro Blue. I haven't seen shark blue in person but seems very similar except mine has metallic in it. Also Shark Blue might be a little brighter. I get lots of compliment on this color. loving it personally.
The first of the Shark Blue cars are just now being delivered. A couple of weeks ago, my dealer had two shark blue cars arrive and go right into the hands of the happy owners. You’ll see more of them. It’s going to be a popular color — it’s a good blue.

Still ranks below Night Blue and Gentian Blue as far as blues go. But definitely above Miami Blue.
You have to see in real life. Pictures don't do it justice -- either good or bad.
I personally do not like the color after seeing it in person.
I really don't think it's a color that will age well.
Go see it in person and decide for yourself.
I agree, I don't think the color will age well on the non GT cars. After seeing it in person, I would tell anyone who is thinking of ordering to see it in person on a car first.
I think the color looks pretty good on the GT3 - but have not seen it in person and not on a C2S or other.
However, in the back of my mind I am wondering how that color will maintain its uniqueness - meaning on a recent 7 hr or so drive down the highway, I started seeing 'close enough' colors to the shark blue on other vehicles. Once I started paying more attention, saw the color on cars, SUV and semi's. Were they exact, not likely, but they stand out enough to notice and would be very close to the average person.
I do think its a great color and if someone said you want a GT3 in shark blue at MSRP - I would graciously proceed. However, kind of makes me think of the line from the Incredibles movie - "When everyone is special, no one is special"

Or every single VW GTI in Cornflower Clue which is exactlythe same color as Shark Blue.

I've seen both Night Blue and Gentian Blue in person, while I haven't seen Shark Blue in person it is more appealing to me than both of them. Miami Blue is of course my least favorite. (Will wait till I see a shark blue car in person to make my final decision though, Night and Gentian are great colors)
I bought my 992 2 months before the Shark Blue GT3 debuted, or I would have bought one in shark blue with shark blue wheel accents and light accents.
My favorite color is Meissen Blue but I don't think there are very many of those cars floating around....its possible I will find a way to marry Meissen Blue with Carrara White Metallic on the same body, in which case there is no chance I'll ever search for a Shark Blue car, as blue on porcelain would look a lot better to me personally than Sharks "ultra blue" effect (it kinda reminds me of "Ultra Blue" from Grand Theft Auto games, which was my preferred color but a porchelain car would be a lot more unique/personal).

I wanted shark blue but they didn't offer it for 2021 models and by the time the 2022s came out, I didn't want to risk losing my V200 allocated 2021 to get back in line and wait for a 2022 allocation in shark blue w/ aerokit... would've been great, but still happy with what I ended up with.
