Default 992 Front axle lift

...does anybody know if the front axle lift can be installed as a retrofit to cars produced without this option?
In case, and indication on the possible cost?

Likely not, as it would be highly costly to retro fit. Never heard of anyone doing this on the last several generations of 911s.

Nope; retrofit at this time not possible.

I've heard that FAL is not really necessary unless you live in a place with LOTS of high curbs and if you have a really low car. My C4S w/ SportDesign is going to be driven in a snowy region year-round and I'm not concerned.

I have it in Orlando and am very glad I have it, there are several very steep curbs and driveways around even though it is a completely flat city.

If you live in any sort of urban environment, and the car has SPASM and/or sports facia then it will scrape occassionally without the lift. But it's built to accommodate that with the front splitter being an easy and cheap replacement.

I think there may be aftermarket options available but very expensive compared to speccing from the factory.

KW has a setup but it is twice what the factory option costs and not well integrated. If you ever think you might need it, get it. For the price, it's been very nice to have and if you lower the car, think GT3 height, you will encounter more issues without it.
