Perhaps a taboo subject is to discover that your choice of seats for your Porsche 992 is uncomfortable. I discovered that after ordering the 14 way seats .
My exterior is Aventurine Green with a Truffle Brown interior. I chose a dark brown Sheepskin seat. I placed the order with Classic Sheepskin of California.
It took about eight weeks to receive my order. The seats are so much more comfortable with the added benefit of being easier to get in and out as well.
Very 80’s. You should order a front bra as well! I tend to tear up seats sliding in and out. it could be from wearing Levi’s jeans all the time. I guess i should stick to khakis. Anyway, the first sign of that and I’ll order sheepskin covers too. The only downside will be to lose the benefit of the heated and ventilated seats.
Sheepskin seat covers are one of those accessories that actually work incredibly well, but you'll be the subject of endless ridicule from all your car buddies...
Of course for those who absolutely don't give a fock what anyone else thinks about them or their car, they are kind of awesome! And who cares if you loose 'heated and ventilated', as that's the whole point of natural sheepskins, keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
I'm actually kind of surprised a company is still making custom sheep skin covers!
I have the driver seat in sheepskin in my Boxster. I'll see how it goes in the Carrera, But I specced 930 leather package and intend to enjoy that. If I start seeing wear I'll get one for the driver's seat. Also getting some Coco Mats, so who knows!
