Difficulty deciding on color
#31
Take a look at post 397 and 398 here to see AG with a Slate Gray/Chalk interior:

I'm liking the deviated seat centers here as well.
My current C2S build has a Black/Iceland Green interior selected, but having just learned that this combination configures the roof lining and carpet in black, I might be leaning towards an AG exterior with the Slate Gray/Chalk interior.

I considered the AG and would have gotten the Black/Iceland had I gone with that. But AG was actually out of the running much sooner as my final decision was between Gentian and Chalk. I chose the Gentian. But did not do the slate/chalk, instead option for the black w chalk stitching and chalk seat centers.
If you like the chalk slate, that is also a great option. I love the idea of a bright interior. Or you could go with chalk slate and slate seat centers for a reverse look.
Here is mine. I will say they are brighter. Came out much creamier than the chalk is in the lighting and how my phone took the pic.

Do not get Gentian Blue!
It's so annoying to constantly have people come up and tell me how much they love the color. It never ends, I'm so tired of it........now I know how Brad Pitt must feel, all the unwanted attention. Geez, I can't even drive down the street without some dimwit giving me the thumbs up, will it never stop?

A lot of people here are complaining that there are too many GBs on the street. But that's just a testament to how good the colour is, it's a classic that ages very well.
If the goal is to "stand out" more than you already are with a 911, then I'd suggest Python Green or something even wilder.
If the goal is to enjoy the colour you chose and have it age well, then I'd suggest Gentian Blue.
I echo the other commenter that said AG probably won't age well due to how light it is.

I think if someone is debating these two and whether they will be timeless, I’m not sure that either Aventurine or Gentian necessarily qualify. I don’t think of either being classic, heritage Porsche colors.
For whatever that’s worth (ie not much).

Aventurine Green definitely flies under the radar.

concern yes. Marks not that I can see. I had PPF on the whole hood and front as many do but not the whole car. And no sunroof so my roof, doors and rear are bare. I also did ceramic. So I wash with a power washer and foam cannon and dry with a high end towel in a drag technique. I don’t mitt when I wash. Just cannon and rinse. Considering a blower for drying.
