Difficulty deciding on color
Hi All.
Our build locks 2 weeks from now and my wife and I are stuck deciding on 2 color combos. We are both 50-50 on both of these colors and I was hoping to get feedback/input from you guys. We have seen both in person and my wife and I will both be genuinely happy with either one. Our past 8 cars have all been white, so we decided to mix it up a bit this time around. We are deciding between:
Aventurine Green w Iceland Interior
Gentian Blue w Slate/Chalk Interior
This will be a base 992 with standard wheels and no sunroof.

Do not get Gentian Blue!
It's so annoying to constantly have people come up and tell me how much they love the color. It never ends, I'm so tired of it........now I know how Brad Pitt must feel, all the unwanted attention. Geez, I can't even drive down the street without some dimwit giving me the thumbs up, will it never stop?

You really can’t go wrong with either here. Both are outstanding dynamic colors.

Thanks for the responses. Just curious, the very last color combo my wife and I eliminated before settling between these 2 colors was Aventurine w Slate/Chalk. Any thoughts on this specific color combo vs going with the Iceland Green?

I liked Iceland on the Configurator but not when I saw it in real life. Have you seen it in a car? The car I saw was Aventurine with Black/Iceland. Talked me out of it instantly.
Have you considered Truffle Brown? It’s a little light for my tastes (Espresso would be better IMO), but it’s a pretty rich combo with that grey/green.
With the options available, I would wager many if not most people come down to Gentian or Aventurine if they don’t want black, white or silver. My SA told me many people have ordered Aventurine because “it was a new color”. I much preferred the 993 Aventurine, though.

I have GB with the Slate/Chalk interior--it's a beautiful combination with great contrast. It's much brighter than the more subdued monotone look of AG with the Iceland interior, especially in the sun. Both are great choices, but very different--GB is the flashier of the two.

I really don't think Aventurine Green will age well, and certainly not as well as Gentian Blue.

I went with Gentian Blue with Slate/Chalk interior, I really liked the result. However, the Gentian Blue is definitely getting to be too common now. Been seeing a lot of that colour. I picked it over the GT Silver, thinking Silver is too common. But looks like GB will be a very common color for the 992. lol

Thanks for the response. I have never owned a gray colored steering wheel before. How is the maintenance on it? Does the gray leather on the steering wheel easily show dirt and what does the wear look like? My model S has the white interior so I am not too concerned about the seats as I am with keeping the steering wheel clean and retaining its matte finish.
