"To each their own" with regards to modifying their car of course, but this is not a no-brainer aesthetic decision for me. Anyone else feel the same way? I do agree it's a high impact/$ mod as @slc4s mentioned above, but something about this extra tapered plank of black plastic disrupts/detracts from the beautiful contrast between the narrow front and fantastic standard widebody rear of the C2, IMO. The GT3 skirts on a car without 360* ground effects draw my eyes downwards and adds visual weight - not as bad as a hood bug deflector or side window rain deflector would, but similarly? There's also a quotient of "trying too hard" and I'm not exactly sure where this mod falls on that scale. I'd have to see this mod on a C2 in person to make a final assessment, but my instinct is that the svelte looks of the C2 are negatively impacted by this mod. Just my $.02. Cheers!
I sorta agree with the comment above. I just finished the install earlier today. I originally had the painted sport design skirts wrapped in matte black. These GT3 skirts do take away from the classy curves and give it a more "boy racer" look. I'm going to see if the look grows on me...
It will definitely save the hips from rock chips.

I finally got mine and popped them on. They are WAY more pronounced than the Sport Design skirts, so I can see why not all would love them. I think they’d probably look weird if you just put them on an otherwise base/stock car. Will post pics tomorrow once I have a chance to wash it.

I know my flooring doesn't show the contrast too well but here is a side by side

Very Nice. I have a similar color'd 992S but without a sport design front. Wonder if it will look too aggressive....but looks like they may also protect the rear side/quarter panels also from rocks/debris/chip with the flare. Still waiting on mine back ordered tho.

I don't remember the exact numbers - but I believe it's roughly ~20mm in the rear and ~25mm out front. Not particularly aggressive since it's my daily driver, but it sits similar to a GT3.

Porsche Beaverton / Sunset Porsche has a set in stock that they originally ordered for me (my local dealer ended up having a set another customer cancelled on so I took those a couple weeks back), in case anyone wants them. Their pricing is very competitive.

So - here's an interesting qustion - I have my GTS cab on order; I have spec'd the sportdesign side skirts in black.

My build locks in a week or so.

Given this thread, can I delete that, save the 1500 bucks or whatever, and order these and install when the car comes in?

Will the car have the right attachment points etc, and do the skirts come with the necessary installation hardware on a car that never had the skirts?

Yes. You can swap the regular skirts to these without issues.
