Woke up this morning to 3 warning messages that came on right when I turned the car on. I just took delivery of the car about 6 weeks ago and have put about 2,000 miles on it.
car was parked outside last night and it was pouring rain all night and this morning… so I’m fairly certain one of these is related to the rain (LCA not available warning I think came on Becuase cameras/laser was too wet). Anyone seen the others before?? All of them went away within 5 minutes and haven’t come back, but they did all come on at once so figured I’d ask if anyone else thought they are weather related?
see images below:
I’ve had this happen on mine as well about a month ago. 2020 with 5800 miles. 3 messages just came on after a startup. I believe it was after I did a power wash. It definitely startled me, but it never happened again. So not really too worried.

ok that’s a big help, thanks. Must be water sensors being triggered. Need to remember not to leave her in the driveway on rainy days going forward I guess
I checked on this, and it does not seem to be the culprit... lights never came back on, so trying not to think about it, but never like not knowing what causes these things so if anyone else experienced it, let me know.
I had those messages on my 2021 targa 4 about 2 months ago. Took it in and they said the connect/assist controller needed a software upgrade.
<Edit> Sorry, here is a little more info.
I had the Lights and LCA messages, along with "PAS Unavailable". The tech said it was *low voltage*, and found a bulletin indicating a software upgrade was required for the Connect/assist controller to reduce battery drain when the car was off.
There is also an older TSB on NHTSA for campaign WKJ9 that lists the LCA and PAS messages as symptoms, and indicates reprogramming the ZFAS controller, but I can't see the VIN list it applies to.
This happened to my 20 C2S cab yesterday while it was raining. The rain stopped and the road dried, but the warnings didn’t clear until I stopped and restarted the car an hour later. I’ve been in the rain before and didn’t experience this.

Thanks Bassman51... It is really strange that the same messages popped up in rain for you too... I think thats reason enough for me to bring it in and have them check. Must be some system that was triggered in the wet, and I want to make sure there isnt a leak where there shouldnt be at this point.
