Hi All - have a Targa on order. Gentian blue w/ black interior.. Was going to do a black top, but thinking of maybe blue instead.

Anyone have a picture or own a gentian blue cabriolet or targa with a blue top? picture much appreciated!

Most people go with the standard look black top, but there have been several pics of cabs posted with blue tops. It's a much better and more cohesive look imo. IMO, the blue works better with NBM

I would do Blue. I've seen a 997 in dark blue with blue top and it looked great! Even brown could work if you have Truffle interior.

I had two blue over blue cabs: a ‘99 Boxster and an ‘07 C2S. Both with tan interiors. Obviously, I liked the combination. My new 992 has a black top over agate, which is also nice. But given the matching blue/blue choice, I say go for it.

That's it. GB has a lot of variability in different lighting conditions. When it is purple I am not sure the blue top goes that well.

Ah, the purple! I liked that, even with the blue soft top. And I had the metal top to match, which had the same color variations.

I don’t mean to hijack the thread. I have a build for a Cabrio with chalk exterior and graphite blue with chalk stitching interior and the blue convertible top curious what people think about this combination?
