Hi,

I ordered a 992 C2S, and I can change my configuration until begining of next week:

I really like flashing colours on sports cars, I drive a 2018 Mustang GT in orange fury and I love the colour. When I ordered my Mustang I was not sure about the colour though. And now I got the same problem with the 992.
Sometimes I feel like I would like it more in an elegant black, and then I think it will be boring and a car with such a nice shape needs a bright colour.
Ahh, it makes me crazy. I know I have to decide on my own, but maybe you can give me some advise.
btw: I live in Germany near Frankfurt am Main, maybe someone would let me have a look on his yellow 992.

The world has enough black 911s. Go with the racing yellow.

Given that you like bold colors, it is obvious that you should go with yellow

They’re both great colors.

I like the black with Aurum.

I spec'ed my 991.2 GTS in GT silver, nice for sure but conservative and kind of boring. Good for driving to work but sad to have such a good car with a boring shade, not much different than all the other silver SUVs out there. Added a Guards Red 718 Boxster and love it, almost went with yellow. Go with the yellow.

And if you do end up going with black, add yellow seat belts at least (and stock up on micro fiber towels and quick detailer, you are going to need it keeping the black car black.)

I had 3 yellow 981s 2 GT4s and one S never got tired of it . Very easy color to maintain. Before i had a 11yr run of black cars porsche,bmw audi, loved the look but got tired of the upkeep. Every time i walk up to a black car i see a flaw drove me nuts! On my 992S i thought about yellow again but went with CWM for less visibility and attention. Like to fly under the radar..carl

Go with yellow, you won't regret it. I have a black car now and it only looks good after I wash it.

There is a youtube video of a yellow 992 parked in downtown Stockholm. It looks lovely and not clown-like. Suggest black interior and yellow belts.

Of course, I am biased. My Racing Yellow C2S coupe arrives in three days.

Struggled with this as well when ordering a 2020 C2S. In the end, RY won the day and I absolutely love it. No regrets . . .

As much as I love black 911s it sounds like racing yellow is perfect for you. My dad has a racing yellow turbo and it honestly does seem like a much more exotic and special car vs black. Can't imagine you'd regret it.

one thing i did find out is yellow is harder for resale if that matters. seems to be a polarizing color,love it or hate it deal..carl

My 991.2 is black and it's hot and looks dirty 12 minutes after I wash it. What's more it water spots like crazy and looks too much like a coffin in my garage.

I have a Racing Yellow 992 on order.

I wish I had done colored belts, but with my chalk stitching and chalk seat centers, that would have been chalk belts, and while a nice contrast, the hardest to keep clean. Anytime you have the right color combo for red or yellow belts is the way to go.
