Miami Blue a very close third.
None of these three aggressive colors is likely going to be chosen by the more conservative corporate boys who leave every morning bright and early in their monkey suits with brief case in hand.

I test drove a guards red S and C4S GT silver, if the S had been a C4S I’d have had it on the spot, amazing colour, good reds are rare on cars and Porsche know how to make a good one!
Ended up ordering Agate, had all manner of blues, purples and blacks over the years, time for a special grey again.

For me after 2 Agate Gray Porsches (a 981 and 991) and before that a Meteor Gray 997.2 C4S before them...I went a different route with Chalk which I just liked and thought looked good in most lights especially evening and was a bit more unique than the classic Carrera White or Artic White avail. Averturine Green and Gt Silver were close seconds. Never considered the Blues although they are pretty. Loved and wanted Lava Orange but my wife talked me out of it saying only worked in really in certain locales in her opinion and certain personalities. It and Racing Yellow and Python Green just draw attention even parked which I may or may not want in my current profession and all,. So Chalk it was and 90% of me hasn't regretted it...know there is only 1 other Chalk 911 in 100 miles of me...have seen in..a 991.2 GTS so I am good with that part.
PS 1st Porsche was Arena Red (996) and have had Arctic Silver (997.1) and a Racing Green (997.2) so have had the brighter colors along with a Speed yellow 987 Boxster. There is something to be said for them but man with my SY Boxster EVERYBODY and I do mean ALL of my friends and neighbors and co-workers knew my comings and goings like clockwork base on my car sightings...that I did NOT care for...too much unnecessary surveillance man!

I was leaning toward dolomite but my wife and son pointed out that my last 3 cars were silver. I went with aventurine green and have zero regrets. I get a different colored car at different times of the day depending on lighting conditions.

I tend to avoid the white, silver and black colors. My 2020 C2S 992 is Aventurine Green. I also still own a 2012 1/2 C2S 991 ans it is Congac. This color still turns heads and was only briefly offered. It is bright yet more subdued that bright greens, orange and blues.

“People who drive sports cars are a little more open to the mentality of play. It’s about pleasure and fun, not just the seriousness of life. Furthermore, many sports cars are simply gorgeous. I can never get enough of the elegant lines of a Porsche 911. You almost have to choose a color that stands out. I think we need more courage again in our choice of color. Walt Disney once said, “Dream your life in colors—it’s the secret to happiness.”
According to surveys, 60 percent of people say that color is one of the main factors they consider when purchasing a car. In this case, however, they don’t choose their favorite color but instead generally select something discreet and reserved. A few decades ago, red was the most popular color for cars. Now it’s white, followed by black, silver, and gray. Three-quarters of the new cars sold in 2016 were one of these colors.

Does having a non white, black, grey/silver coloured car mean you’ll get pulled over more? Surely thats an urban myth...not sure about the US but not the case in UK.
There was a story of police playing “car snooker” in the UK (and probably other countries) when they got bored meaning red cars got stopped the most, but this has been dispelled.

I too struggled (am struggling) with this one. I originally wanted a Lava Boxster. Then moved on to a Cayman GTS and struggled with color. Yellow seemed good. not as many of them, I like that, resale in yellow is the highest per Hagerty, followed by Orange. Silver, black and red are the middle of the pack and green is on the bottom. Anyway, a friend has a racing yellow cayman. I like it but after hanging with him all morning, i decided i wanted to go more mellow, but I still like to be different. GT Silver to me probably looks best, but it will not stand out if you care about that. Then I saw Aventurine Green in person. I like it a lot. To me it looks like a dark, metallic gray in some lights which makes the body lines look good to my eye, yet they don't make nearly as many AvGreen cars. It's only been available for a few years and is currently only available on the 992, 718 and Panamera. Not on SUV's. So I think it will be different, which I like, and it will compliment the shape of the car, which I like, and it will hopefully attract less attention from Smokey Bear, I hope.
That's my decision... today.... I'm not locked in on my order yet, so get back to me tomorrow! LOL

Like Jeff Gordon once said “who cares what color it is, from the driver’s seat they all look the same”. 😉
I have had many people say to me “oh, I saw you at such and such place because I recognized your blue car”, which can be a good thing or bad thing depending on what you’re doing! 😂
